At Kollective Find, every luxury designer piece is carefully evaluated before it earns a place in our collection. We use multiple professional authentication services to verify the items we sell — because shoppers deserve absolute confidence in every purchase.

THE AUTHENTICATION SERVICES WE USE

We don't rely on a single source for authentication. Different brands, categories, and pieces require different expertise — so we use a combination of the most trusted authentication services in the industry:

ENTRUPY
Industry-leading AI-powered authentication for luxury handbags. Trusted by Fashionphile, major resellers, and luxury experts worldwide. We use Entrupy on most luxury handbags and select small leather goods, particularly Hermès.

REAL AUTHENTIC
Third-party authentication for luxury items including handbags and accessories. We often use Real Authentic for faster turnaround on certain luxury pieces.

AUTHENTIC DETECTIVE
Specialized authentication expertise across luxury categories. A trusted partner for handbags, jewelry, and other luxury pieces — often our go-to for items requiring detailed expert review.

HERMÈS EXPERTS
Brand-specific authentication for Hermès pieces, including handbags, scarves, and accessories. We use Hermès Experts for the highest-value Hermès items because no brand demands more specialized knowledge.

LEGIT GRAILS
Authentication for luxury items and high-demand streetwear. We use Legit Grails for select luxury pieces and any high-value streetwear that warrants additional verification.

EVERY AUTHENTICATION INCLUDES A CERTIFICATE

When you purchase an authenticated luxury piece from Kollective Find, you receive:

- The official authentication certificate from the verifying service
- Certificate emailed to you immediately after purchase
- A printed copy included in your shipped package

(For security reasons and to protect against counterfeit operations, certificates are shared only after purchase — never before.)

This means every authenticated piece comes with documented proof of its authenticity, backed by an independent third-party expert.

WHAT WE AUTHENTICATE

We authenticate luxury designer items where counterfeiting is a known concern. This includes:

- Luxury designer handbags (Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Dior, and more)
- Luxury designer shoes with clear brand markings
- Luxury designer accessories — silk scarves, designer sunglasses, branded belts

HOW WE AUTHENTICATE

In addition to using professional authentication services, our team conducts our own multi-point inspection on every luxury piece:

- Craftsmanship and construction — stitching quality, symmetry, hardware finish, and material weight
- Brand markings — date codes, serial numbers, heat stamps, engravings, and hologram tags
- Materials — leather grain, lining quality, thread color, and fabric composition
- Hardware — weight, finish, branding, and aging consistency with the piece
- Provenance — original receipts, dust bags, authenticity cards, and care booklets when available

Pieces that do not pass our authentication review — internal or via professional services — are not listed for sale. Period.

WHAT WE HAND-INSPECT (BUT DO NOT FORMALLY AUTHENTICATE)

Many items in our collection — particularly vintage home décor, vintage clothing without major designer labels, costume jewelry, candles, and contemporary lifestyle pieces — are not subject to traditional authentication, as no such process exists for these categories.

For these pieces, every item is:

- Hand-selected by our team for quality and style
- Carefully inspected for condition, craftsmanship, and lasting appeal
- Honestly described with clear photos and condition notes

We do not claim authentication on items where no authentication process exists. For these pieces, we rely on our experienced eye, trusted sourcing relationships, and transparent disclosure.

DESIGNERS WE REGULARLY AUTHENTICATE

Luxury designer brands we frequently authenticate include, but are not limited to: Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermès, Prada, Fendi, Dior, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Celine, Givenchy, Burberry, Valentino, Balenciaga, Goyard, Chloé, Loewe, and similar luxury houses. For fine jewelry and watches, this includes Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bvlgari, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Omega, and similar luxury makers.

For contemporary brands such as Coach, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Longchamp, and similar accessible-luxury labels, items are carefully inspected for condition and signs of authenticity, though we do not perform full luxury-grade authentication on these pieces.

We're happy to provide additional photos, details, or specific notes on any item before purchase — though we do not share authentication certificates until after a purchase is complete, to protect against misuse by counterfeit operations.

If you ever receive a luxury designer item from us that you believe is not authentic, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue, including a full refund where warranted.
