ABOUT KOLLECTIVE FIND


What is Kollective Find?
Kollective Find is a curated online boutique offering preloved, new-with-tags (NWT), and vintage finds. We specialize in luxury designer handbags, clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind home décor — hand-selected for quality, condition, and timeless style.

What does "preloved" mean?
Preloved refers to pre-owned items that have been gently used and well cared for. Every preloved piece in our collection is inspected, authenticated (for luxury designer items), and clearly graded so you know exactly what you're getting.

What does "NWT" mean?
NWT stands for "New With Tags." These items have never been worn or used and still have their original tags attached — essentially brand new condition.

What makes Kollective Find different from other resale sites?
Unlike large marketplaces, every piece on our site is personally hand-selected by our family team. We carry a curated mix of preloved, NWT, and vintage — spanning fashion, accessories, jewelry, and home — so you can shop one cohesive collection instead of piecing together from multiple sites.

 

AUTHENTICATION & QUALITY


How do you authenticate designer items?
Every luxury designer item goes through a rigorous authentication process using multiple professional services depending on the piece. We use Entrupy, Real Authentic, Authentic Detective, Hermès Experts, and Legit Grails — each chosen for their specific expertise in different brands and categories. Authentication certificates are passed to buyers with every authenticated purchase. Learn more on our Authentication page.

Do you authenticate contemporary brands like Coach, Kate Spade, or Tory Burch?
For contemporary brands (sometimes called "accessible luxury"), we carefully hand-inspect each item for condition and signs of authenticity, but we do not perform full luxury-grade authentication. Formal authentication processes are primarily established for high-luxury brands where counterfeiting is a known concern. We're always happy to share additional details and photos before you purchase.

What if I receive an item I believe is not authentic?
For luxury designer items, contact us within 7 days of delivery at shop@thekollectivefind.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue, including a full refund where warranted. Your trust is our top priority.

How do you grade the condition of items?
We use five condition grades: NWT, Excellent, Very Good, Good, and Vintage. Each grade has a clear definition so you know exactly what to expect. See our full Condition Guide page.

Will the item have any flaws?
We disclose all visible flaws in our product photos and descriptions. Preloved items in "Excellent" or "Very Good" condition show minimal to no wear, while "Good" condition items may have visible signs of use. Vintage items reflect their age and history — patina and minor wear are expected and part of their charm.

 

VINTAGE ITEMS


What do you consider vintage?
Any item 20+ years old is classified as vintage. Our vintage collection spans the 1950s through the early 2000s. Learn more on our About Vintage page.

Are vintage items in perfect condition?
Vintage pieces have history — that's part of their appeal. They may show light wear, patina, or character marks consistent with their age. We photograph and describe any notable wear so there are no surprises.

How do you handle vintage items that don't have major designer labels?
For vintage pieces without luxury designer labels — including vintage home décor, costume jewelry, and unlabeled vintage clothing — we provide hand-inspection and honest condition disclosure rather than formal authentication. Formal authentication doesn't exist for these categories, so we rely on our experienced eye and trusted sourcing relationships instead.

How do vintage sizes work?
Vintage sizing runs very differently from modern sizing. We provide detailed measurements (bust, waist, hip, length, etc.) for every vintage clothing item. Always go by the measurements, not the size label, when choosing your fit.

Can I return a vintage item?
All vintage items are final sale due to their unique, one-of-a-kind nature. Please review measurements, photos, and condition notes carefully before purchasing. We're always happy to provide additional photos or details — just reach out before you buy.

 

ORDERING & PAYMENT


What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Our checkout is fully encrypted and processed through Shopify's secure payment system. We never store your full credit card information.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible at shop@thekollectivefind.com. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations. Once an order ships, our standard return policy applies.

Do you offer discount codes?
Yes — new customers can use code TKF26 for $50 off their first order of $100 or more. Sign up for our email list to receive exclusive offers and first access to new arrivals.

 

SHIPPING


Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only. We hope to expand internationally in the future.

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping rates apply at checkout. We offer free shipping on all US orders over $500.

How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. Once shipped, standard delivery takes 3-7 business days depending on your location. You'll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.

Will I receive tracking?
Yes, you'll receive an email with tracking details as soon as your order ships.

What if my package is lost or damaged?
Contact us within 7 days at shop@thekollectivefind.com with your order number and photos (if damaged). We'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and make sure you're taken care of.

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes — we're based in Houston, Texas, and offer local pickup or delivery for select orders. Contact us at shop@thekollectivefind.com to arrange local options.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES


What is your return policy?
We offer a 14-day return window on eligible items. See our full return policy on our Returns page.

What items are final sale?
Vintage items, jewelry, sale or discounted items, and custom or personalized items are all final sale and cannot be returned.

Do you offer exchanges?
Because most of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, we don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different item, please return your original purchase (if eligible) and place a new order.

Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error. We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method.

Is there a restocking fee?
We don't charge restocking fees on items returned in their original, unworn condition with all tags attached. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to items returned in less than original condition or showing signs of wear.

How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed within 3-5 business days of receiving the returned item. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.

 

SIZING & PRODUCT DETAILS


How do I know if something will fit?
Please refer to our sizing chart for clothing items. For shoes and accessories, we list the size as marked. If you have questions about fit, email us at shop@thekollectivefind.com — we're happy to help.

Can I request more photos of an item?
Absolutely. Email us at shop@thekollectivefind.com with the item name or product link, and we'll send additional photos or detailed condition notes.

Are colors accurate to the photos?
We make every effort to photograph items in natural lighting and accurately represent colors. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

 

SELLING TO KOLLECTIVE FIND


Do you buy items from sellers?
Yes! We're always looking to source new luxury, designer, and vintage finds. We purchase items outright — we do not offer consignment at this time. If you have luxury handbags, designer pieces, vintage items, or home décor you'd like to sell, we'd love to hear from you.

What types of items do you buy?
We're interested in a range of pieces across these categories:

- Luxury designer handbags (Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Dior, and similar brands)
- Fine and designer jewelry
- Designer and luxury shoes
- Luxury accessories (scarves, sunglasses, belts, wallets)
- Unique vintage pieces (clothing, jewelry, handbags, and home décor)
- Designer and higher-end contemporary clothing — including Anthropologie, Vince, A.L.C., Farm Rio, Reformation, Sézane, Doen, Alo, Lululemon, Frame, Mother, AGOLDE, AG, and similar brands
- All premium contemporary brands — including Zimmermann, Veronica Beard, Ulla Johnson, L'Agence, Cinq à Sept, Alice & Olivia, and similar tier

How do I sell items to you?
Email us at shop@thekollectivefind.com with "Sell to Us" in the subject line. Include:

- Clear photos of the front, back, interior, and any flaws
- Brand name and item description
- Any original packaging, dust bags, receipts, or authenticity cards you have
- Your asking price (if you have one in mind)

We'll respond within 1-2 business days with our offer or any follow-up questions.

Do you offer closet cleanout services?
Yes! For sellers with larger collections, we offer closet cleanout services. Reach out at shop@thekollectivefind.com with "Closet Cleanout" in the subject line to learn more about our process and discuss options.

Do you offer consignment?
We do not offer consignment at this time. We purchase items outright, which means once we agree on a price and the item is authenticated, you're paid immediately and the item becomes ours to list and sell.
