A charming blue and white pitcher in the flow blue transferware style, marked Victoria Ware Ironstone on the base. The cobalt transfer design wraps the body with an old-world European scene of figures, horses, and architecture, finished with a scalloped rim and a graceful blue handle. A lovely decorative accent for a shelf, mantel, kitchen, or as a vase for florals.
Vintage reproduction in the antique flow blue style, late 20th century (not an antique) — made for decorative display only, not food use. In Very Good condition — no surface marks, scratches, crazing, or cracks. The only wear is a faint ring of soiling around the base from years of sitting; it is minor, on the underside only, and not visible when the pitcher is displayed. The chalky unglazed base is original to these reproductions, not damage. Ceramic ironstone.
