A charming Chinese famille rose lidded tea mug in the Rose Mandarin style, hand-painted with a figural scene of robed court figures in a garden setting, framed by florals and gold accents in the classic pink-and-green mandarin palette. Includes the matching domed lid with gilt finial. The base bears an iron-red Qianlong reign mark in the traditional manner (an apocryphal/homage mark commonly used on decorative famille rose ware — not an indication of 18th-century date). A collectible chinoiserie piece, lovely for display or gifting.
Vintage, later 20th century. Approximately 5" tall × 3" in diameter, with its matching lid. Good vintage condition, honestly described: there is minor loss to the gold in some areas (finial and trim), a few small flea bites (tiny shallow nibbles) around the base edge, and light soiling on the unglazed footring. Otherwise, sound and display-ready. Porcelain.
