A characterful vintage Italian art glass owl, hand blown in the Murano tradition and shaped as a sculptural vase — the body opens between two upswept "ear" tufts into a deep vessel, so it works as both a standout figurine and a small bud vase.
The cased glass shifts with the light: a soft, opalescent lavender-lilac (amethyst-toned) across the face, deepening to a rich, coppery, brown-speckled casing over the back and base. A honeycomb optic texture is worked throughout the body, and the owl's applied glass eyes are raised brown discs with concentric, flower-like detail and a warm aventurine-style copper sparkle. The underside is finished with a ground and polished concave pontil — a hallmark of quality hand-blown work.
